You will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines, producing precision parts to exact specifications. Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Operate and maintain CNC machines, including Haas mills and lathes, to produce precision parts.
2. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machine setup and production sequence.
3. Measure and inspect parts using precision measurement tools to ensure they meet specifications.
4. Calibrate and adjust machines and equipment to maintain accuracy and ensure optimal performance.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
6. Follow quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality parts.
7. Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve processes and efficiency.
8. Adhere to all safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education in machining, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
3. Proficient with Haas mills or lathes and familiar with other CNC machines.
4. Strong knowledge of precision parts manufacturing and tooling.
5. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
6. Experience with precision measurement tools and equipment calibration.
7. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve machine and equipment issues.
8. Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards.
9. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
11. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
12. Must be physically able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
13. Understanding of GD&T
14. Adherence to ISO 9001 requirements & safety protocols.
