Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting and understanding blueprints, job routings, tooling instructions, and standard charts for specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions
  • Performing light programming tasks as required through an understanding of G and M codes
  • Setting up and operating machine tools and machines
  • Modifying tools as needed to meet project requirements
  • Working collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and effective project completion

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CNC Machinist role
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, job routings, and tooling instructions
  • Experience with light programming tasks utilizing MasterCAM is required
  • Hands-on experience with machine tools and machines, including setting up, operating, making fixtures, and assembling fixtures
  • Ability to modify tools as needed
  • Solid understanding of G and M codes, machine and fixturing set-up, canned cycles, and work offset coordinate system
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines
