Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints and engineered drawings to understand the specifications and requirements of each part.
• Adjust machine settings to keep the machine running at optimal efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine problems and carry out necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Continually strive to improve knowledge and skills in CNC machining.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
• Proficiency in operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineered drawings.
• Strong understanding of G-code and CNC programming.
• Knowledge of various types of metals and their machining properties.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to comply with all safety regulations.
• Experience with 5-axis machining is a plus.
