Responsibilities:

As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:

1. Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
2. Loading raw materials into the CNC machines to produce parts.
3. Setting up and operating CNC machines, including programming and adjusting settings as necessary.
4. Using precision tools, machinery, and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, band saw, grinder, and other metalworking tools to fabricate, repair, or produce parts.
5. Performing routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
6. Ensuring the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
7. Overseeing the machines while they execute the tasks and make necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
8. Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
9. Documenting and reporting any product or process discrepancies.
10. Adhering to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the CNC Machinist position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in using CNC lathe and CNC programming.
3. An in-depth understanding of the machining process and the properties of different materials.
4. Excellent ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of mechanical aptitude.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and also effectively as part of a team.
9. Relevant certification or diploma in the related field is preferred.
10. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
