Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. As a Permanent CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art CNC machines. This is a permanent position, offering stability and opportunities for growth within our organization.

Responsibilities:

1. CNC Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines including lathes and mills to produce high-quality precision parts according to specifications.
2. Programming: Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to program CNC machines for efficient and accurate production.
3. Tooling and Fixturing: Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and other accessories required for machining operations.
4. Quality Control: Perform regular inspections of machined parts to ensure adherence to quality standards and make necessary adjustments or modifications as required.
5. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs as needed to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, tooling used, and any adjustments made during the machining process.
7. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on lathe and mill operations.
2. Technical Skills: Proficient in the set-up, operation, and programming of CNC machines, with a strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and fixturing techniques.
3. Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate machining operations.
4. Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues with CNC machines, tooling, and machining processes.
5. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision and accuracy in machining operations, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
6. Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maximize productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
7. Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow and address any concerns or issues.
