CNC Machinist

Currently, we are servicing energy production companies that are multi-national and have facilities worldwide. We however have the experience and expertise to take on a wide variety of projects no matter the industry.
We have Manual Machinists for Prototype work to CNC Machinists with the latest Technology to machine efficiently and cost effectively. We continually cross train our Machinists to improve their skill levels and allow them to make increasingly more difficult Parts.

Job Summary: We are searching for an experienced CNC and/or Manual Machinist, both Lathe and Mill Operators are welcome to apply. The job shop environment has consistently varying quantities and production. The position requires the ability to set up machines, and fixture and produce parts accurately. This shop makes individual parts to complete assemblies. As a versatile job shop made up of skilled craftsmen, employees are exposed to the manufacturing of many diverse products.
Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate and variety of equipment which includes manual lathes, manual mills and Bridgeport machines, grinders, saws etc.
• Select appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
• Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
• Fixture and produce parts accurately; quantities of parts range from 1 to 500 pieces.
• Review drawings or samples to ensure accurate production.
• Troubleshoot and rectify any problems and assist other machinists as needed.
• Maintain accuracy and flexibility with day-to-day work varying consistently.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Experience with machining small and medium size parts preferred.
• Able to read and interpret drawings.
• Able to perform own setups.
• Multi-tasking while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Problem solving skills are a must.
• Experience with writing programs for G Code/Haas Conversational, and Mastercam Software a plus.
