Physical Demands & Environment
- Full-Scope CNC Maintenance: Troubleshoot, repair, and install components on advanced CNC machines such as Doosan, DMG Mori, MORI Seiki, and Fanuc-controlled equipment.
- Controls & Diagnostics: Navigate CNC control panels to pinpoint issues, verify corrective actions, and document all findings.
- Root Cause Mastery: Perform structured root cause analysis to eliminate recurring faults and improve long-term reliability.
- Preventive & Corrective Work: Execute both proactive and emergency maintenance while meeting production deadlines.
- Data-Driven Tracking: Use the department’s CMMS to log downtime, parts usage, and maintenance activities with accuracy and clarity.
- Lean Improvements: Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, increase uptime, and optimize processes.
- Safety Leadership: Conduct point-of-work risk assessments, follow lockout/tagout procedures, and ensure compliance with all critical safety standards.
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years of CNC maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma required; associate degree or trade certification strongly preferred.
- Advanced skills diagnosing motors, drives, and electrical components, plus an understanding of critical safety devices.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, OEM manuals, Bills of Materials, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating within a skilled maintenance team.
- Proficiency with computerized building management systems and confident use of a wide range of hand and power tools.
- Strong communication skills to clearly document and relay maintenance activities and technical findings.
Physical Demands & Environment
- Regularly walk, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work around moving machinery, loud noise, and occasional fumes or outdoor conditions.
