We are seeking a 2nd Shift CNC Maintenance Technician to be responsible for performing both corrective and preventive maintenance on CNC and production equipment. This is a skilled, mid-level role ideal for a technician who can work independently on a variety of mechanical and electrical tasks, while seeking support for more complex issues. The technician plays a critical role in supporting equipment uptime and plant performance through adherence to safety protocols, maintenance systems, and continuous improvement principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and part replacements on CNC machinery
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues on equipment such as Doosan, DMG Mori, and MORI Seiki using Fanuc controls
- Navigate CNC control systems to verify machine functionality post-maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures including LOTO and Point-of-Work risk assessments
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation in CMMS for repairs, downtime, and parts usage
- Assist with equipment installations and preventive maintenance tasks
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Understand and interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, blueprints, SOPs, and BOMs
- Demonstrate working knowledge of hand/power tools and machine shop safety
- Collaborate with team members and work independently as needed
- Support lean manufacturing principles across maintenance activities
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; associate degree or technical certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of CNC maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
- Ability to diagnose motor failures and critical safety devices
- Familiarity with computerized building management systems
- Experience with troubleshooting facility utilities and electrical components
- Basic project coordination skills including planning and scheduling repairs
- Proficient verbal and written communication; ability to complete clear documentation
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring standing, climbing, kneeling, etc.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to loud machinery, airborne particles, strong odors, and vibration
- May occasionally work near moving parts or in outdoor conditions
- Requires use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols
- Moderate to loud noise levels are typical in the work area
