We are seeking a talented and dedicated CNC Maintenance Technician for a permanent position within our dynamic manufacturing team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our cutting-edge CNC machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of CNC machines, including gantry mills. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician to work on high-tech aerospace equipment and contribute significantly to our operations' success.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out regular maintenance and inspection on CNC machines and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent malfunctions or breakdowns.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with machinery, motors, pneumatics, and other equipment, identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions.
3. Perform calibration of machines and equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production processes.
4. Repair or replace faulty components of the machinery as required, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to production schedules.
5. Work closely with the operations team to understand equipment requirements and provide technical support where needed.
6. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and calibration activities for compliance and auditing purposes.
7. Keep up-to-date with advancements in CNC technology and suggest improvements or upgrades to current machinery.
8. Adhere to all safety and health regulations, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, preferably with experience in aerospace equipment.
2. Proven experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery, including gantry mills.
3. Strong knowledge of pneumatics, motors, and other machinery components.
4. Proficiency in calibration of machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly and concisely.
7. A strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
8. A relevant technical qualification or certification would be advantageous.
