Job Details
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Utilize MasterCam software to efficiently program 3-5-axis CNC lathes (primarily Haas)
Program complex parts, primarily working with various metal alloys including steel, stainless, and high-nickel materials.
Generate and maintain programs, setup sheets, and tool selections to ensure optimal performance and tool life.
Run machining simulations and verify code to ensure program accuracy and efficient run times.
Collaborate with the team on inspection strategy, suggesting improvements in programs and processes.
Design and machine custom fixture tooling as needed.
Support and uphold AS9100 and ITAR quality standards through first piece, in-process, and final inspections
Participate in continuous improvement efforts and provide feedback on process efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an AS9100 or ITAR-compliant environment.
MasterCam Proficiency
5-10 years of experience in a machine shop enviorment
