Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and improve CNC programs for 3 and 5-axis milling machines and 2-axis lathes using industry software such as HSMworks, MasterCam, and Solidworks.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines effectively and safely, ensuring all components are produced to the highest quality.
  • Work closely with the design and production teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming and operation.
  • Participate in the development and prototyping of new automotive components.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes for efficiency and productivity gains.
  • Maintain accurate records of all programming activities and ensure that all CNC machines are maintained and serviced regularly.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming, set up, and operation
  • Proficient in 3 and 5-axis CNC milling and 2-axis lathe operations.
  • Experience with automotive components is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in CNC programming software
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling concepts, and machine tool capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and precision.
