Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our amazing team in Connecticut. As a Permanent CNM, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum periods. You will work with a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Provide prenatal care to pregnant women, including performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting lab tests, and monitoring fetal development
- Attend births and provide care to women during labor and delivery, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and assisting with the delivery of the baby
- Provide postpartum care to new mothers, including performing physical exams, providing breastfeeding support, and monitoring for postpartum complications
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, pediatricians, and lactation consultants, to ensure the best possible care for our patients
- Educate patients on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care, including providing information on nutrition, exercise, and childbirth techniques
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records and documentation of patient care
Qualifications:
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with a current license to practice in the state
- Experience in obstetrics and gynecology or women's health ideal
- Strong clinical skills, including the ability to perform physical exams, interpret lab results, and provide prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and patients
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple patients and tasks simultaneously
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and a passion for women's health
