Collections Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Collections Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial collections, analyzing deductions and overpayments, and negotiating payment arrangements. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain our commercial collections portfolio, ensuring timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, using your analytical skills to identify issues and implement solutions
• Negotiate payment arrangements, balancing the need for payment with the need to maintain good customer relationships
• Analyze deductions and overpayments, identifying trends and making recommendations to improve processes and reduce errors
• Prepare reports on account status for senior management, providing clear and concise information on the financial health of the company

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial collections
• Proven experience in researching payment discrepancies and negotiating payment arrangements
• Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to analyze deductions and overpayments
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused approach
• Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office, particularly Oracle
