Compensation: $55,000 – $70,000 base salary (no bonus, no equity)

Role Overview
The Collections Analyst will play a key role in managing and improving our accounts receivable processes. This individual will be responsible for credit and collections activities, monitoring KPIs such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and ensuring effective cash flow management. The ideal candidate will be firm yet collaborative, forward-thinking, and able to provide strong support to both the finance team and the broader business.

This individual will be responsible for credit and collections activities, monitoring KPIs such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and ensuring effective cash flow management. The ideal candidate will be firm yet collaborative, forward-thinking, and able to provide strong support to both the finance team and the broader business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee collections and credit activities for the AR department.
- Track, analyze, and visualize AR metrics, including DSO and other KPIs.
- Partner with internal teams to identify and resolve outstanding receivables.
- Implement best practices to improve collections efficiency and support business growth.
- Use JD Edwards and Excel for day-to-day AR and reporting functions.
- Provide strategic support and recommendations to leadership on credit and collection practices.
- Assist in bringing new team members up to speed as the department expands.
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of credit and collections (AR) experience.
- Strong knowledge of KPI metrics (e.g., DSO) and ability to visualize AR data.
- Ability to be firm and professional when addressing collections.
- Forward-thinking approach with the ability to provide proactive support.
- Industry background in construction, oil, or automotive preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred (not required).
- Proficiency with JD Edwards and Excel.
