Job Details

The Construction Superintendent will be working on 2 buildings – one addition and one free standing in a steel manufacturing building. The addition is an extension of a lab that tests metal. The free standing building is a maintenance building including some offices in there. Project budget is $4M.

Here, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Ensure all safety compliance and quality programs are being executed on the project site. Safety is one of our core values.
  • Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion;
  • Hire subcontractors and review their performance during and after their job has been completed;
  • Communicate with Project Manager on a regular basis about job sites, schedules, production and subcontractor issues;
  • Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards;
  • Walk all units on project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning;

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of leading relevant construction operations experience working in various general commercial building markets.
  • OSHA 30 HIGHLY PREFERRED - or open to obtaining
  • Communicate using the following tools: telephone, written logs, email, computer, digital camera;
  • Workable knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive is preferred;
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);
