The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires an individual with a strong background in commercial ground-up construction, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Superintendent will liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
2. Review and interpret project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work and project requirements.
3. Coordinate and supervise the activities of all construction team members and subcontractors, ensuring projects adhere to the highest quality standards.
4. Develop and maintain construction schedules, identifying and solving problems that may delay project completion.
5. Ensure all construction operations are in compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
6. Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
7. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
8. Prepare and submit project reports, including status updates, budget reports, and project forecasts.
9. Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
10. Foster a culture of safety on the job site, promoting and enforcing safety protocols among all team members and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the commercial construction industry.
2. Proven track record of successfully overseeing commercial ground-up construction projects from inception to completion.
3. Strong knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, and safety regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and project management skills with the ability to supervise and coordinate the work of a large team.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of project stakeholders.
7. Proficient in construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
8. Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different job sites as required.
