Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Commercial Estimator to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating and must possess a bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent. As a Commercial Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects. You will be working closely with our team of General Contractors and Construction Developers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
Review project plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with General Contractors and Construction Developers to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time.
Attend site visits and meetings with clients, architects, and engineers to gather project information and assess project requirements.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality materials.
Participate in the bidding process, including preparing bid documents and negotiating contracts.
Provide post-construction analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction estimating, or general contractors or construction developers
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction estimating software.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
