Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of the construction process, including the selection, coordination, and management of subcontractors, suppliers, and labor.
2. Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensure project objectives are met within the agreed time frame and allocated budget.
3. Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
4. Interface with clients to define project requirements and establish project work plan and deadlines.
5. Ensure project safety standards are met, minimizing liability and risk.
6. Prepare and present project proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and budgets to clients.
7. Resolve issues related to plan design, material selection, and regulatory compliance.
8. Provide regular updates to clients and senior management on project progress and changes.
9. Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
10. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, encouraging team growth and development.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction Management, specifically in commercial and industrial projects.
3. Proven track record of managing large scale commercial/industrial construction projects from start to finish.
4. Strong knowledge of construction practices, processes, and safety regulations.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
6. Proficient in project management software, MS Office Suite, and AutoCAD.
7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
8. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
10. Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is a plus.
