We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Commercial Line Account Manager to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment, and who has a passion for problem-solving and client service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and ensuring all insurance needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and services.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and service a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring all client needs and requests are met in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
3. Understand and analyze clients' insurance needs, recommend appropriate coverage, and assist with the renewal process.
4. Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, and other policy changes.
5. Collaborate with underwriters and other insurance professionals to negotiate terms and conditions for clients.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using agency management software.
7. Stay informed about industry trends, changes in insurance laws, and new insurance products.
8. Assist with the development and implementation of new procedures and processes to enhance productivity and client service.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Commercial Line Account Manager or similar role in the insurance industry.
2. Proficiency in agency management software with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
3. Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and services.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and analyze clients' insurance needs.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
8. Professional insurance designation (CIC, CPCU, ARM, etc.) is preferred.
9. A valid insurance license is required.
