Job Details

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage a designated book of large lines business, including policy renewals, preparing coverage summaries, and processing binders, certificates, proposals, and insurance documents in a timely manner.

Conduct consultative discussions with commercial clients to assess needs and deliver tailored insurance solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers.

Obtain renewal quotes from current markets, process renewals, and handle cancellations or non-renewals when necessary.

Prepare complete marketing submissions for existing accounts as required.

Additional Responsibilities:

Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling appropriate coverages.

Provide support with miscellaneous tasks as needed, contributing to team and agency growth.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in insurance customer service or account management.

Experience with very large lines of commercial insurance.

Active Property & Casualty License (all lines).

Strong knowledge of insurance products, terminology, and document processing.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Applied/EPIC is preferred.

Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Commitment to professional development; college degree or industry designations preferred.

Positive attitude and resilience in a fast-paced work environment.

Strong customer service mindset with a passion for delivering a positive client experience.

Ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.

Clear and professional communication skills, even under pressure.
