We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our fast-paced Sales team. This position is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual who is keen on driving sales and managing key commercial accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a book of commercial lines business, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the highest level of customer service. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive the growth of the commercial lines business by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
2. Manage and maintain a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring all client needs are met and relationships are maintained.
3. Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and objectives.
4. Negotiate and finalize deals in a way that meets client’s expectations.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders.
6. Provide expert advice to clients on insurance products and coverage options.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and transactions.
8. Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure policies and coverage meet client needs.
9. Stay current on industry trends and changes and communicate relevant information to clients and team members.
10. Resolve any client inquiries or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role such as Commercial lines producer, Commercial Lines Insurance, or commercial lines account manager.
2. Proven track record of success in driving sales and managing key accounts.
3. In-depth knowledge of commercial lines insurance products and coverage options.
4. Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
5. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals effectively.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
9. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
10. Insurance industry certifications or designations (such as CIC, CPCU, etc.) would be considered an asset.
11. A valid insurance license is a must.
