Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney with at least 5 years of practice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex commercial disputes, excellent litigation skills, and the ability to manage cases from inception to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, real estate litigation, and other business-related
conflicts.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Develop and execute effective case strategies in collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Manage client relationships and provide strategic legal counsel on litigation risks and potential resolutions.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations when applicable.
  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting commercial litigation.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in OR.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience practicing commercial litigation.
  • Strong courtroom experience, including trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
