We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of complex commercial disputes, and will play a critical role in shaping and implementing litigation strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned litigator to showcase their skills and make a significant impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all stages of the litigation process for a diverse range of commercial disputes, including the investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement and appeal.
  • Conduct thorough and detailed investigations to identify and gather relevant evidence.
  • Draft and review a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
  • Represent the company in court and before government agencies, presenting evidence and arguments in a compelling and persuasive manner.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of the company, achieving favorable outcomes while minimizing legal risks.
  • Provide expert legal advice to company executives and other key stakeholders, helping them understand the potential legal implications of various business strategies and decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their interests are protected.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in commercial litigation and related areas of law, applying this knowledge to benefit the company and its clients.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a proven track record of success in hearing and trial preparation.
  • Admission to the state bar.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in clear, simple terms.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
