Responsibilities
As a Commercial Litigation Attorney, you will:
1. Handle a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including but not limited to, contract disputes, business torts, and complex commercial transactions.
2. Represent clients in mergers, acquisitions, and financings, ensuring their interests are protected at all stages of the transaction.
3. Conduct thorough and detailed legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
4. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
5. Provide sound legal advice to clients on potential litigation risks and strategies.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and providing tailored legal solutions.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and legal changes that may affect clients' cases or business operations.
8. Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to ensure comprehensive legal coverage for clients.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Attorney with a focus on some of the following: finance, financings, mergers, acquisitions, and commercial transactions.
4. Proven track record of representing clients in complex litigation matters.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to clients and team members.
8. A high level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. The ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
10. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
