Job Details

A well-respected Florida law firm with a strong reputation in complex litigation and business law, is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join its Boca Raton office.

This role supports a dynamic litigation team handling sophisticated commercial disputes across state and federal courts.

Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in all phases of commercial litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal
Draft, format, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence
Manage document production, including collection, review, organization, and e-discovery platforms
Coordinate and maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines (state and federal courts)
Prepare deposition materials, hearing binders, trial exhibits, and witness files
Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and document productions
Conduct factual research and assist with case strategy development
Communicate with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel
Support trial preparation, including logistics, exhibit management, and onsite assistance as needed


Qualifications

3+ years of paralegal experience in commercial litigation (required)
Strong knowledge of Florida state and federal court procedures and filing systems (including e-filing portals)
Experience handling complex, document-intensive matters and e-discovery tools (Relativity or similar preferred)
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management software
Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree preferred
