We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join our high-performing legal team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our commercial litigation department, providing comprehensive support to our attorneys and contributing to our ongoing cases. This role involves extensive legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing litigation support. 1. Conduct comprehensive legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles to assist in the preparation of legal advice, briefs, and court papers.

2. Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, then file them with the court.

3. Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system, ensuring all relevant information is accessible and easy to locate.

4. Assist attorneys in preparing for trial by conducting investigations, interviewing witnesses, and handling other discovery tasks.

5. Coordinate the delivery of subpoenas and assist with the preparation and handling of exhibits for trial.

6. Provide litigation support during trials by managing exhibits, taking notes, or reviewing trial transcripts.

7. Liaise with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to schedule interviews, meetings, and depositions.

8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, court decisions, and new laws that may affect the organization's operations or the industry as a whole.

Job Details

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree is required; a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is highly desirable.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial litigation.

3. Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.

4. Exceptional legal writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and effective legal documents, correspondence, and reports.

5. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal solutions.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and case management software.

8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.

9. High level of integrity and professional responsibility, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
