Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of commercial litigation, from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other court documents in connection with litigation proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide variety of issues related to commercial litigation.
• Represent the organization in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions.
• Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to ensure effective and efficient case management.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing excellent client service.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations and maintain the highest level of professionalism and ethical conduct.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be an active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 5-12 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Prior experience in federal judicial clerkship is highly desirable.
• Exceptional knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.
• Proven track record of managing complex commercial litigation cases.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism and adherence to strict ethical standards.
• Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
