Responsibilities
Requirements
- Manage commercial litigation matters including business torts, breach of contract, and lender disputes
- Represent clients in construction-related litigation, including defect claims, lien enforcement, and delay disputes
- Handle real estate disputes and support transactional closings, including title review and due diligence
- Assist in drafting and reviewing loan documents, leases, and purchase agreements for commercial properties
- Appear in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings across Florida
- Work directly with clients on strategy, document negotiation, and risk mitigation across litigation and transactional work
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and J.D. from an accredited law school with at least 3 years of experience
- Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Litigation background with experience in commercial or construction disputes
- Exposure to commercial real estate and/or secured financing is strongly preferred
- Strong writing, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple files and collaborate across practice areas
