Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber for project based work. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment and have a strong background in commercial plumbing projects across a range of sectors including healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality, industrial, or commercial.
Responsibilities
1. Working on commercial plumbing projects, ensuring all plumbing systems are designed and installed in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
2. Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications to understand the plumbing requirements of each project.
3. Installing a variety of piping systems, including copper, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and gas piping systems.
4. Providing expert advice on plumbing codes and installation practices to ensure all work is compliant and up to standard.
5. Installing fixtures, sewer lines, and pipes in commercial buildings, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project timelines.
6. Collaborating with other construction professionals to ensure all plumbing systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall project design.
7. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the installation process, using your expert knowledge to find effective solutions.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Plumber in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience working on projects in sectors such as healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality, industrial, or commercial.
3. Expertise in installing a variety of piping systems, including copper, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and gas piping systems.
4. The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
5. A strong knowledge of plumbing codes and installation practices.
6. Experience in fixture installation, sewer line installation, and pipe installation.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
9. Relevant certifications or qualifications in plumbing or a related field would be highly advantageous.
