Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and interpret various real estate agreements including leases, purchase and sale agreements, easements, and other real estate documents.
- Conduct thorough due diligence for potential real estate transactions, including reviewing and analyzing title and survey documents, environmental reports, zoning reports, and other due diligence materials.
- Provide legal advice on a broad range of real estate matters including acquisitions and dispositions, development, financing, and leasing of commercial real estate.
- Assist with the structuring, negotiation, and closing of complex commercial real estate transactions.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to client service and to stay abreast of market trends and legal developments.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional client service.
- Work closely with other attorneys and staff to ensure the successful completion of real estate transactions.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a focus on leasing, due diligence, acquisitions and dispositions, and general transactional experience.
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, other attorneys, and all levels of staff.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and as part of a team, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
- Proficient with legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional client service and establish and maintain strong client relationships.
