We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial law, contract law, property law, lease agreements, and real estate law knowledge. This role will require a high level of professionalism and excellent negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on matters related to commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial real estate contracts and agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence in real estate transactions, including review of title, survey, and environmental issues.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, if necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in real estate law and inform the team of any potential impacts.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including finance, operations, and development, to ensure all real estate transactions are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide training to company personnel on legal matters related to commercial real estate.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Attorney.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial law, contract law, property law, and real estate law.
  • Proven experience in negotiating and drafting commercial lease agreements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to manage a large workload and to work well under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
