We are on the hunt for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our dynamic Legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a group of professionals dedicated to providing top-tier legal services for our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for Draft, prepare, and negotiate commercial lease documents, broker’s contracts, and letters of intent for leasing space in commercial properties across the nation. This role will also involve providing legal advice on a wide range of real estate matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and representing the company in any disputes or legal proceedings.
Responsibilities
1. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial lease documents, including leases, amendments, renewals, and terminations.
2. Provide legal advice on a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and property management.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to commercial real estate.
4. Represent the company in any disputes or legal proceedings related to commercial real estate.
5. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement effective strategies for managing the company's real estate portfolio.
6. Conduct due diligence investigations and risk assessments on potential real estate transactions.
7. Prepare and present reports on the status of real estate transactions to senior management.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders in the commercial real estate industry.
9. Stay updated on the latest trends, developments, and legislation in the commercial real estate industry.
Qualifications
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
3. A minimum of 1+ years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney.
4. Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial lease documents.
5. In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate laws, regulations, and best practices.
6. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
8. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
