Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced commercial real estate paralegal with specialized expertise in title and survey matters to join our legal team. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys and clients to provide legal support for commercial real estate transactions, including reviewing and analyzing title and survey documents, preparing closing binders, and conducting due diligence.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze title reports, surveys, and other related documents for commercial real estate transactions
Prepare title objections and curative documents as needed
Prepare closing binders and coordinate the closing process with attorneys, clients, and other parties
Conduct due diligence and identify potential issues or concerns related to title and survey matters
Work with title companies and surveyors to ensure accuracy and completeness of documents
Assist attorneys with drafting and reviewing legal documents related to commercial real estate transactions
Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in the transaction
Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal, with a focus on title and survey matters
Strong knowledge of title and survey concepts and legal terminology
Experience reviewing and analyzing title reports, surveys, and other related documents
Ability to prepare title objections and curative documents
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems
Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification preferred
