This full-time, permanent role will offer you the unique opportunity to be involved in high-profile commercial real estate transactions, providing pivotal support to our team of seasoned attorneys. If you are a motivated professional with a strong understanding of the commercial real estate landscape and a knack for legal procedures, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting attorneys with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
2. Conducting comprehensive reviews of complex commercial real estate contracts, lease agreements, and title documents.
3. Preparing and managing closing checklists, drafting legal documents and agreements, and coordinating closings.
4. Performing due diligence, including review of title commitments, surveys, and environmental reports.
5. Collaborating with clients, attorneys, and other parties to ensure all legal requirements are met.
6. Maintaining an organized system of physical and digital files to ensure information can be retrieved quickly and efficiently.
7. Staying abreast of changes in commercial real estate law and informing the team of any relevant updates.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Commercial Real Estate Paralegal position, candidates must possess the following:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate, demonstrating a solid understanding of commercial real estate transactions and legal principles.
2. Proficiency in contract review and analysis, with the ability to identify potential issues and suggest practical solutions.
3. Strong knowledge of real estate law, including experience with title and survey review, lease analysis, and real estate closings.
4. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
7. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
