Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our company by providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for our commercial roofing projects. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to work with a team of professionals who are committed to delivering top-quality work and achieving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and other related costs.
• Review and analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, clients, and subcontractors to gather all necessary information for the estimates.
• Use construction estimating software to calculate costs and prepare budget projections.
• Negotiate and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing and delivery schedule.
• Present estimates and conduct cost proposal meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor and compare actual project costs against estimated costs, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as required.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in construction estimating techniques.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator in the construction industry.
• Proficient in using construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment, particularly in commercial roofing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex construction plans and develop accurate cost estimates.
• Solid understanding of basic business mathematics.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with subcontractors and present estimates to clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing estimates.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
