As an estimator with us, you’ll dive into projects ranging from $100K to $5M, providing expert cost analysis and bringing precision to both public and private bids. What You’ll Do:
Own the pricing strategy for complex commercial reroofing projects.
Perform take-offs using Roof CAD, bid documents, field notes, and Scopes of Work.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to secure competitive material quotes.
Partner with sales, architects, engineers, and consultants to develop effective project scopes.
Build comprehensive estimates and options using custom Excel pricing tools.
Deliver value-engineering strategies that balance quality and budget.
Present estimates to leadership for review and approval.
Assist in developing compelling bid packages and post-sale production kits.
Stay at the forefront of roofing trends, techniques, and materials.
What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in commercial roofing estimating.
Strong knowledge of roofing systems: single-ply, mod-bit, asphalt, shingles, and standing seam.
Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and ideally Roof CAD.
Exceptional attention to detail, with a knack for spotting discrepancies others miss.
Strong communicator—confident in both written and verbal collaboration.
Fiercely organized and capable of managing multiple bids with tight deadlines.
Self-starter who thrives independently but collaborates with ease.
