Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, coordinate, and supervise construction activities on various commercial projects, including hotels, country clubs, clubhouses, healthcare facilities, and other commercial buildings.
  • Implement and maintain strict safety standards to ensure a safe work environment for all staff and subcontractors.
  • Conduct quality control audits to ensure compliance with building regulations and codes.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with construction projects.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of construction professionals to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Resolve any work-related issues or disputes that may arise, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time by effectively managing time and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in ground-up commercial construction, including hotels, country clubs, clubhouses, and healthcare construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in risk and safety management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a knack for making effective decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and plans.
  • Proficient in using construction management software.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
