We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Permanent Commercial Superintendent-Billings to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This exciting role will give you the opportunity to oversee commercial projects, including healthcare, hospitality, aviation, and K-12. You will be responsible for leading field operations, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with OHSA 10-HR. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, industrial, healthcare, concrete, and self-perform.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation.
2. Allocate resources for assigned projects.
3. Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
4. Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
5. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
6. Ensure all work is in compliance with OHSA 10-HR safety standards.
7. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
8. Review work progress on a daily basis.
9. Schedule and coordinate all design and construction processes.
10. Ensure all necessary permits and insurance are in place.
11. Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, industrial, healthcare, concrete, and self-perform.
2. Proven working experience in construction management.
3. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
4. Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
5. Familiarity with construction management software packages.
6. Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
7. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
8. Leadership and human resources management skills.
9. Excellent time and project management skills.
10. BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is a plus.
11. Experience in healthcare construction, TI, aviation, K-12, and hospitality sectors is highly desirable.
12. Certification in OHSA 10-HR safety standards is a must.
