Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects from initial planning to completion.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and other project documents.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Implement and maintain safety and risk management procedures.
  • Supervise site activities, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest quality standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Resolve any issues or problems that arise, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with local and national building codes and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the commercial construction industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budget management, blueprint reading, risk management, safety management, site supervision, quality control, team leadership, problem-solving, communication skills, and time management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Thorough knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in construction management or a related field would be advantageous.
