Are you a dynamic, experienced Commercial Superintendent passionate about managing and delivering exceptional construction projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Permanent Commercial Superintendent to join our growing team in the construction industry. This role is integral to our success, overseeing commercial projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Superintendent, your core responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and supervising commercial construction projects, including ground-up construction, renovations, and additions. Projects Typically $2M-20M.
2. Overseeing specialized construction projects in diverse sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, automotive, hospitality, and faith-based multi-Family construction.
3. Coordinating and directing the activities of project teams, including architects, engineers, laborers, subcontractors, and other professionals.
4. Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
5. Developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating resources, and managing project budget to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
6. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality, and resolving any issues or delays that may arise.
7. Communicating effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent or Commercial Superintendent in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing commercial projects, including ground-up construction, renovations, and additions construction.
3. Specialized experience in managing construction projects in sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, automotive, hospitality, and faith-based construction is highly desirable.
4. Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to oversee and coordinate diverse project teams effectively.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
6. A thorough understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards in the construction industry.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues promptly to ensure project continuity.
8. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
