We are seeking a Commercial Survey Field Crew Member to support field surveying, construction staking, site layout, and data collection for commercial, land development, and infrastructure projects.

- Perform field survey work for commercial, land development, construction, and infrastructure projects
- Support construction staking, site layout, building layout, utility layout, grading, control points, and as built surveys
- Operate survey equipment including total stations, GPS equipment, levels, data collectors, and related field technology
- Collect accurate field data, measurements, elevations, points, and site information
- Set stakes, hubs, control points, benchmarks, and layout markers for contractors and project teams
- Read and interpret construction plans, site plans, grading plans, survey drawings, and project documents
- Work closely with crew chiefs, survey technicians, project managers, and office staff
- Maintain clear field notes, survey data, equipment records, and daily documentation
- Follow jobsite safety standards and maintain equipment in good working condition
Qualifications
- Experience in field surveying, construction staking, site layout, land development, or commercial construction layout
- Background as a Survey Technician, Field Survey Technician, Instrument Operator, Rodman, or Survey Crew Member preferred
- Ability to operate or learn total stations, GPS equipment, levels, data collectors, and related survey equipment
- Familiarity with Trimble, Leica, Topcon, Carlson, or similar survey technology is a plus
- Ability to read construction plans, site plans, grading plans, and survey documents
- Strong attention to detail and ability to collect accurate field data
- Comfortable working outdoors in active construction and land development environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work well with field crews, contractors, project managers, and office teams
