We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Commercial Transactional Attorney to join our high-performing legal team. This role involves providing comprehensive legal support to our clients in the acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial properties. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in negotiating and drafting legal agreements, conducting legal research and analysis, and advising clients on various aspects of commercial real estate law. Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
2. Represent lenders, developers, and investors in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, and loan documents.
4. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support decision-making and provide strategic advice to clients.
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the execution of commercial real estate transactions.
6. Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of transactions.
7. Stay updated on developments in commercial real estate law and industry trends to provide informed advice to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate/Transactional Attorney.
  • Proven experience representing lenders, developers, and investors in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Strong background in commercial real estate law and familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Experience in conducting legal research and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism and ethics, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical legal solutions to complex issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
