Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients in the commercial transportation sector
2. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop defense strategies.
3. Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
4. Represent clients in court, presenting evidence and arguments in a compelling and persuasive manner.
5. Conduct depositions of witnesses and experts, ensuring all relevant information is collected and appropriately utilized.
6. Prepare clients and witnesses for trial, ensuring they are fully informed and comfortable with the process.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial transportation defense litigation
3. Demonstrated experience in legal research, legal writing, depositions, trial experience, and trial prep.
4. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
6. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
7. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple cases with competing deadlines.
8. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
9. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
