Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the commissioning process for large commercial projects, ensuring all systems and components are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements of the owner.
2. Conduct HVAC system analysis, design, and optimization to ensure the design meets the project requirements.
3. Perform Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) for HVAC systems to optimize performance.
4. Lead commissioning retro projects, applying your technical expertise to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
5. Test and evaluate complex engineered systems, identifying any issues and implementing effective solutions.
6. Prepare templates and perform calculations for testing systems, ensuring accurate and reliable data.
7. Collaborate with the project team, providing guidance and support in the commissioning process.
8. Ensure all commissioning activities are conducted in compliance with company standards, health and safety regulations, and quality control standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience commissioning large commercial projects.
3. Valid Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
4. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, installation, testing, and maintenance.
5. Proven experience with Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) for HVAC systems.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex engineered systems and implement effective solutions.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
8. Proficiency in using computer software for preparing templates and performing calculations for testing systems.
9. Strong commitment to health and safety regulations and quality control standards.
10. Ability to work in a hybrid role, both remotely and on-site as required.
