Commissioning Project Manager (Mission Critical Facilities)
We are seeking Mechanical Building Commissioning Engineers to join our Commissioning Group nationally. Successful candidates will perform and manage commissioning procedures for mechanical systems, including moderately complex systems and Data Centers and other Mission Critical Facilities; Manage and lead commissioning projects, as well as other commissioning engineers would be a plus. Must be self-motivated and proactive on projects with limited supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking Mechanical Building Commissioning Engineers to join our Commissioning Group nationally. Successful candidates will perform and manage commissioning procedures for mechanical systems, including moderately complex systems and Data Centers and other Mission Critical Facilities; Manage and lead commissioning projects, as well as other commissioning engineers would be a plus. Must be self-motivated and proactive on projects with limited supervision.
DUTIES
- Lead and execute commissioning projects from beginning to close-out.
- Perform all aspects of commissioning of mechanical systems including chilled water systems, air distribution systems, AC Systems, and building controls system.
- Perform commissioning design reviews, commissioning submittal reviews.
- Develop pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems commissioning scripts. Develop commissioning forms, specifications, and plans.
- Understand contract documents (i.e., drawings and specifications) and Sequence of Operation. Execute commissioning scripts.
- Develop and assemble final commissioning reports. Track and report commissioning issues throughout the project.
- Operate safely in a construction atmosphere performing commissioning operations.
- Ensure project schedules are being met.
- Maintain strong client relationships.
- Provide some project management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors or Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years Commissioning experience, preferably in Mission Critical Facilities or Data Centers.
- Working knowledge of mechanical/HVAC Systems, BAS, and Controls Systems
- Certifications Desired, EIT, PE, CEM, CCP, CPMP, BEAP, LEED AP is highly preferred, Not Required
- Experience in ASHRAE commissioning industry standards and a Commissioning certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) process for New Construction and Existing Buildings and LEED Accredited Professional is preferred.
- Understanding of building mechanical systems, chilled water systems, air distribution systems, AC Systems, building controls system, Glycol based systems, and boilers.
- Background and experience in operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Plan, schedule, and perform work for mid to large size projects and program.
- Complete projects consistently on time and under budget.
- Cultivate effective relationships with existing and potential key clients, customers, and contractors.
- Requires a high degree of communication, supervisory, and organization skills.
- Communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with clients and peers on technical or project related subjects accurately .
- Strong computer skills including editing, formatting in Microsoft Word and Excel, use of Internet for standards/products/ manufacturer research, and operation of computer-controlled test equipment.
- Must be available for out-of-town travel of up to several weeks at a time.
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
