Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Manage all aspects of client engagements, including scope, invoicing, and compliance with ethical rules
  • Lead corporate transactions including M&A, divestitures, ownership succession, shareholder agreements, and joint ventures
  • Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, commercial agreements, and corporate records
  • Perform and oversee due diligence, risk mitigation, and regulatory research
  • Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with associates, Of Counsel, and support staff
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and communications
  • Develop and promote the firm’s infrastructure, legal content, and client service standards

You should have most of the following:
  • JD from an accredited law school; strong academic record
  • Active member of Oregon State Bar (Washington Bar admission preferred)
  • 6–12 years of legal experience, with at least 5+ years in a law firm environment
  • Strong background in corporate transactions, M&A, and contract drafting
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex client matters end-to-end
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Leadership and supervisory experience with junior attorneys or teams
  • Ability to balance sophisticated legal work with collaborative, client-focused service
