Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Actively manage and oversee all stages of complex litigation cases from inception through final resolution.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to identify potential legal issues and develop effective strategies to address them.
- Draft, review, and revise a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals, and advocate on their behalf.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, legal articles, and court decisions, and apply this knowledge to current cases.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular case updates and sound legal advice.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking events and client meetings, to attract new clients and grow the firm's complex litigation practice.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in complex litigation, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential legal issues and develop effective strategies to address them.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven ability to negotiate favorable settlements for clients.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and work effectively as part of a team.
