We are seeking a passionate and experienced Compliance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that involves ensuring our engineering processes and products comply with the relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a focus on safety, compliance, and regulatory matters. The Compliance Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to safety and quality, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed the expectations of our customers and regulatory bodies.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Compliance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that involves ensuring our engineering processes and products comply with the relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a focus on safety, compliance, and regulatory matters. The Compliance Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to safety and quality, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed the expectations of our customers and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement programs to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, national and international regulations.
- Conduct regular safety and compliance audits, identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability, and develop corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues.
- Review and approve engineering changes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Prepare compliance documentation, including but not limited to safety analysis, risk assessments, and compliance reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the company's Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance is integrated into all aspects of operations.
- Participate in the design and development of new products, ensuring compliance considerations are incorporated from the outset.
- Work closely with product engineers to ensure ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes are compliant with relevant standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations and standards, and provide guidance to the team on these changes.
- Lead training sessions on safety and compliance procedures for employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Compliance Engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, safety analysis, regulatory engineering, and ETL processes.
- Proven experience in conducting compliance audits and developing corrective action plans.
- Excellent knowledge of CE and UL regulations.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and analyze complex engineering processes and designs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex compliance information to a non-technical audience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential compliance issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team, as well as independently.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed compliance records.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Certified Compliance Professional or similar certification would be an advantage.
