Job Details

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Proficiency in installing and configuring personal computer systems.
  • Familiarity with latest productivity tools and modern desktop environments.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively assist users and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and ability to document support activities accurately.
Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role is beneficial but not required.
Certifications: Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent are advantageous but not mandatory.
Job Duties

  • Installation and Configuration: Set up new computer systems, install software, and configure hardware to meet user needs. Remove old computer systems and related hardware, perform asset inventory reporting
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software.
  • User Support: Provide assistance to users experiencing technical difficulties and offer guidance on the use of computer systems and software applications.
  • Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on computer systems, including updates and patches to software and operating systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and configurations utilizing CITGO ticketing system.
  • Training: Assist in training users on new systems and software applications after upgrades and replacements.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with users, colleagues, and management to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Job Duties II
The work environment involves working in an office setting, providing support either in person or remotely. The role may require lifting and moving computer equipment, as well as extended periods of sitting and using a computer.
