Our client is a well-established and respected design build contractor with decades of experience specializing in the construction, restoration and waterproofing of concrete structures including parking garages, stadiums, arenas, bridges, pre-engineered buildings, water and sewage treatment facilities and other concrete structures.

Responsibilities:

Review proposal specifications and drawings and attend pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate.
Prepare estimates by calculating various statistical data such as quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs per man-hour, and equipment costs and applying them to the complete scope of work.
Review/research historical data (purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc.) and compile summary reports to develop guidelines and precedence for future estimates.
Participate in developing bid package estimate documents.
Other tasks, as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent years of relevant experience
5+ years of experience with building wastewater treatment facilities, large water tanks and multi-level parking structures.
Good working knowledge of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations and calculate mathematical extensions. Also, good knowledge of geometric formulas and equations required to calculate area, volume, etc. in performing take-offs.
General understanding of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.
Authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship.
